IOR invites ideas for next papers session

ammonia21.com is inviting the ammonia industry to submit ideas for the next series of evening paper events organised by the UK Institute of Refrigeration IOR.

The Papers and Publications Committee of the IOR invites members to submit interesting ideas, research topics and potential authors to suggest papers for its next session of evening papers.

A prize of € 586 is offered for the best paper presented and the presenter is awarded the Kenneth Lightfoot Medal at the Annual Dinner.

The Committee will review brief outlines for papers (no longer than 500 words) at their meeting in early January. Outlines should indicate which themes will be covered in the paper, what readers will learn from this and how this work is “advancing the science and practice of refrigeration and air conditioning”.

Outlines should be submitted by 10th January and must include:
  • The names and any designations of authors
  • A full and final title for the presentation
  • An brief outline of no more than 500 words
  • Email, telephone and postal contact details
