In the context of the 9th Gustav Lorentzen, the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre opens its doors this week to stakeholders in natural refrigerants, inviting them to discuss the state of play and latest research in the field. This is the first time this one of a kind conference is being orgnanised in the southern hemisphere. ammonia21.com will be reporting from this key conference, as well as from ARBS 2010, the HVAC&R trade exhibition being held in parallel.

As official media partner ammonia21.com will be reporting live this week from the 9th Gustav Lorentzen conference on Natural Working Fluids taking place in Sydney, Australia between 12 and 14 April 2010. This is the first time this one of a kind conference is being held in the southern hemisphere, following previous successful events in Denmark (Copenhagen) 2008, Norway (Trondheim) 2006, UK (Glasgow) 2004, China (Guangzhou) 2002, USA (Purdue) 2000, Norway (Oslo) 1998, Denmark (Aarhus) 1996 and Germany (Hannover) 1994.

“Natural refrigerants – Real alternatives” is the motto of the event organised by the International Institute of Refrigeration and Australian Institute of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heating. The conference will present latest research as well as applications using natural refrigerants in heat pump, air conditioning and refrigeration systems and offer ample opportunity to discuss the consequences of recent policy developments on the sector.

ARBS 2010 Trade Exhibition


ammonia21.com will also be reporting from ARBS 2010, the Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Building Services trade exhibition being held in parallel with the conference. The exhibition will provide a marketplace atmosphere in which to view and discuss latest HVAC&R& building services products and services from over 200 local and international exhibitors.
