ammonia21.com will be travelling to Moscow to bring you the latest news from two major HVAC&R events taking place in the beginning of March 2011: Chillventa’s premiere in Russia and the 2011 Climate World Expo. Both events will encompass a trade fair as well as presentations on topical issues for the Russian HVAC&R industry, including on natural refrigerants.

Chillventa Rossija

Building on the success of Chillventa in Nürnberg, Germany, the International Trade Fair for Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heat Pumps will be celebrating its premiere in Russia from 1-3 March 2011.

ammonia21.com will update you on ammonia products targeted for the Russian market. Moreover, visitors at Chillventa Rossija will have the chance to meet with some ammonia21.com partners, namely:
  • GEA GRASSO REFRIGERATION: stand 6E16
  • ALFA LAVAL: stand 6A14
  • LU-VE SPA: stand 6A22
In parallel to the trade fair, the ‘Chillventa Rossija Congressing’ will also be taking place, where experts and scientists from the industry will be covering the current and hot topics in international refrigeration and air conditioning, such as the increase in the energy efficiency of industrial systems using natural refrigerants. Some of the presentations of interest will include:
  • The normative basis and practice of safety monitoring at the enterprises using ammonia, Dr. Аndrey М. Shakhramanian, Director General NPO SODIS
  • New technical solutions in ammonia refrigerating machines for small store houses and chambers, Denis V. Krivtsov, Moscow State University of Engineering Ecology
  • Innovative equipment of Alfa Laval, Аlexey G. Lazarev, Commercial Representative, ООО Alfa Laval
  • Danfoss components and Danfoss solutions for heat pumps, Dmitry N. Muravyov, , OOO "Danfoss"
  • On fulfillment of obligations undertaken by Russia under the Montreal Protocol, Vasiliy N. Tselikov, Advisor, Consultant of UNO on Industrial Development (UNIDO), Academician, IRA
  • Specific methods for optimal designing industrial refrigeration systems. Improved methods of design and control of refrigerating systems for skating-rinks, Dr. Еvgenie Т. Petrov, Head of SUR&FE, А.М. Kolomets , SUR&FET ; P.B. Brikov, ООО Rusenergomontage

Climate World 2011

Organised by Euroexpo Exhibition Company and the Association of Professional Companies in Industry of Climate (APIC) for seven years already, Climate World Expo has become a significant event for the Russian HVAC&R market.

The 2011 edition, taking place on 1-4 March 2011, will be presenting recent achievements, developments and trends on the HVAC&R market, with exhibitors ranging from large domestic and foreign manufacturers and distributors, installers, design and engineering companies, to trade mass media and specialised organisations.

The 2011 exposition will be held under the auspices of the Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, UNIDO Centre for International Industrial Cooperation in the Russian Federation and the Information Policy Committee of the National Association of Builders.

Again, Climate World will not only encompass a trade fair, but also a business programme dedicated to the most topical issues for the HVAC&R industry in Russia. The events of the business programme will be held on the first three days (1-3 March) with each of the days dedicated to specific topics, namely Marketing, Standards & Certification and Ecology & Energy-Efficiency.

The Ecology and Energy-Efficiency Day on 3 March is of particular interest, as UNIDO and the Ministry of Natural Resources are holding a conference dedicated to HCFC phase-out and introduction of energy efficient HVAC&R equipment using environmentally safe refrigerants in Russia, with the discussions providing the basis for a national strategy. Crucial issues, such as building disposal facilities for ozone depleting substance and measures to stimulate use of natural refrigerants will be discussed.
