Will the next heat pump awards be granted to ammonia technology?

ammonia21.com is calling on the ammonia industry to submit entries for the ‘Peter Ritter von Rittinger award 2011’ announced by the IEA Heat Pumping Technologies Programme as well as the UK's first ‘National Heat Pump Awards’.

The IEA Heat Pumping Technologies Programme has announced that it is seeking candidates for the ‘Peter Ritter von Rittinger award 2011’. The awards recognise deserving individuals or teams that have distinguished themselves in the advancement of heat pumping technologies applications, market development and related dissemination activities with lasting international impact.

The awards will be presented at the International Heat Pump Conference 2011, which will be held in June 2011 in Tokyo, Japan.

UK's first ‘National Heat Pump Awards’

In the UK, Warners Group Publications is launching the UK's first National Heat Pump Awards to recognise the best products, projects and professionals in the heat pump industry that is set to be one of the UK’s fastest growing industries.

There are 10 categories of award for which entries are now being sought:
  • Installation of the year – commercial, air source
  • Installation of the year – commercial, ground source
  • Installation of the year – domestic, air source
  • Installation of the year – domestic, ground source
  • Product innovation of the year
  • Training excellence
  • Public sector project of the year
  • Installer of the year
  • Consultant of the year
  • Heat Pump Champion
The awards will be presented at an Awards Dinner to be held in June 2011.
