Introducing Evapcold: a low-charge packaged NH3 refrigeration system

The Evapcold system requires only 2.5 – 3.0 pounds (1.13 – 1.36 kg) of ammonia per ton of refrigeration, a fraction of the refrigerant charge associated with traditional field-built systems.

The LCR product line consist of 250 distinct models that are factory-assembled, self-contained ammonia refrigeration rooftop system designed to ship in one or two-piece modules. The Evapcold LCR product is built with state-of-the-art heat transfer technology, and offers energy efficiency and microprocessor control, for reliable low charge operation.
