Garden City Ammonia Program (GCAP) is joining ammonia21.com as a new Bronze Partner to present its training programs for industrial ammonia refrigeration specialised on efficiency, safety, and compliance. GCAP is the only Private Industrial Ammonia Technical School in North America and is recognised as one of the top premier programs in the U.S.

The GCAP offers specialised programs and seminars for industrial ammonia refrigeration operators that have different levels of knowledge. Their spectrum of training is customized toward the quick start with no experience to the seasoned operators. These programs allow employees to fully participate in the training process, practice their skills and develop their knowledge.

Ammonia Refrigeration Seminars at GCAP's Hands-on-Facility:
  • Operator I Competencies (Operator Level One)
  • Operator II Competencies (Technician Level Two)
  • Operator III Competencies (Advance Lead/Manager - Test for Best Engineer Practices Follow iiar standards)
  • PSM/RMP Competencies

The best training available through quality and experience

Over 312 different companies choose GCAP’s programs for training support and close to four thousand operators have been trained through their programs. Their Instructors have over 60 years of combined experience in the industry. The students can rely on quality training during the seminars with continued support after the program, as the training does not stop once they leave the school’s facility. The material, used in their courses, is hand selected to achieve maximum standard for student performance in their career of Industrial Refrigeration. This support is meant to help the operator to take what they learned in this training and use in their daily operation and procedures back at their plant. Additional material is provided and given to the student to prepare them for their return training at the next level.

To take into account the significant growth of the Latino workforce in the United States GCAP is already offering its training courses in Spanish and English.

About Garden City Ammonia Program

Garden City Ammonia Program (GCAP LLC) was founded in 2003 by Randy Williams. He was one of the lead instructors at a local College and decided to branch off on his own. He believed that the private sector has always been able to improve process and can out perform any state owned school. At this time GCAP is the world’s largest hands on training facility not only in refrigeration by also in boiler training. They partnered with 8 different universities across the United States and have helped many companies set up in-house training programs.
