ABC Food Machinery becomes partner on ammonia21.com

The Slovak family company specialises in ammonia refrigeration services.

Slovak firm ABC Food Machinery has become a Bronze Partner on ammonia21.com.

The family company solely works with ammonia (R717) and ammonia blend R723. The company has installed the biggest heat pump in Slovakia, with a heating capacity of 468 kW. For this, only 7.5 kg of R723 were used.

The company produces Twineco® units, which are divided into two lines: one using R717 and another using R723.

The firm continuously tries to increase the efficiency and safety of its products.

“Our philosophy is to divide necessary capacity to more compressor units that we can option super effective source of heat and cool,” said Juraj Svingal, technical and sales director of ABC Food Machinery.

Better efficiency and safety can also help to reduce any fear of ammonia among the technicians and the wider population, according to the company. To improve efficiency further, ABC Food Machinery aims to reuse waste energy.

Most of the units produced by ABC Food Machinery are for industrial applications and public projects, such as ice rinks. The company sees a wide range of ammonia usage in public buildings and all HVAC projects. For the future, the firm expects to see wider market potential for low-charge R717 and R723.
