Modine launches Commercial Industrial Solutions at AHR Expo

Following its acquisition of Luvata HTS (Heat Transfer Solutions), Modine is introducing the division’s new name and branding – Commercial Industrial Solutions – at this week’s AHR Expo in Las Vegas.

Following its acquisition of Luvata HTS – a leading manufacturer of commercial and industrial coils, coolers, coating services and related products for the HVAC&R market – Modine is introducing the division’s new name and branding, Modine Commercial Industrial Solutions, at this week’s AHR Expo in Las Vegas.

“Because Luvata HTS is the largest independent producer of HVAC&R coils and coatings globally, the AHR Expo is an ideal platform to introduce the newly created Commercial and Industrial Solutions (CIS) to the industry,” said Matt McBurney, Vice-President, Integration Management Office, Modine.

CO₂ gas coolers, CO₂ unit coolers, dry coolers, heat exchangers, industrial heat exchangers and ammonia unit coolers all feature in the CIS product portfolio.

“When combined with Modine, a proven industry leader and innovator, CIS is well-positioned to continue to grow and provide even stronger service and solutions for our customers around the globe,” McBurney said.

Luvata completed the sale of its Heat Transfer Solutions (HTS) division to Modine Manufacturing Company on 30 November 2016. Modine formally announced the acquisition on 1 December.

In addition to the launch of Commercial and Industrial Solutions, the following HVAC&R products will be exhibited at Modine’s AHR Expo booth (C1126):

Aluminium solutions, including Heatcraft multichannel CF evaporators and PF condensers.
Protective coating solutions.
Applied product solutions, including CO₂ refrigeration coolers, and round tube and microchannel condensers.
