The 12th Gustav Lorentzen Conference, which invites natural refrigerant stakeholders from around the globe to discuss the latest research results and technology developments, has put out a call to submit abstracts. The submission deadline closes on 1 October 2015.
Held at Heriot-Watt University in the vibrant city of Edinburgh from 21-24 August 2016, this conference will focus exclusively on natural refrigerants - CO2, ammonia, hydrocarbons, air and water, as it has been the case for the previous editions.
Potential speakers, who would like to present their topics on natural refrigerants, have been asked to submit their 150-word abstract prior to the 1 October deadline. Final papers must be submitted no later than 30 January 2016. Authors are expected to present their papers in person at the conference.
It is important to note that the authors’ abstracts and papers must conform to the IIR guidelines document, which can be accessed here.

The conference will focus on the factors and technologies driving the future vision for natural refrigerants. The event will be divided in three parallel sessions: natural working fluids, sustainability with natural working fluids and alternative cycles.

Guidelines for abstracts

The abstract must contain:
- A summary of the paper (150 words)
- A paper title
- Names and affiliations of authors (authors may submit up to four abstracts, either as sole or co-author)
- An indication of the corresponding author and one set of contact details
- 4-6 keywords (after the abstract)
