Danfoss has developed the KoolApp™, a practical app library available on both iPhones and Androids. The KoolApp™ is made up of seven tools, providing access to databases, technical information, Danfoss products, on-site trouble shooting and more.
KoolApp Refrigerant Slider
Designed for installers, distributors and producers of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment, the KoolApp Refrigerant Slider turns your smartphone into a user-friendly quick pressure-to-temperature refrigerant converter. It is based on the well-known Danfoss Refrigerant Slider and so far includes 67 different refrigerants, including natural refrigerants.
KoolApp Fitters App
Through this offline tool, users can access Danfoss’ accumulated know-how on refrigeration applications and their features to identify the problems that cause refrigeration applications to malfunction. When starting this App, the users select the area in which they are interested: evaporators, compressors, condensers or line components. The Fitters App allows users to search for the symptoms being exhibited by a system and reveals the possible causes. After identifying the symptom and cause, users will be guided through the procedure to fix the problem.
KoolApp Compass
Available to download as part of the Danfoss KoolApp™, Compass offers the most comprehensive compressor comparison database available on the market where users can search the component in an easy and quick way, regardless of its brand. The app will select the best-matched Danfoss alternative.
KoolApp – KoolCode
Danfoss KoolCode App is a simple, fast and off-line tool to obtain on-the-spot access to alarm, error, status and parameter descriptions for a range of Danfoss refrigeration controllers with a three digit code. Users can look up these codes through these alternative ways:
• Quick code translation without knowing exactly the controller type you are facing
• Hierarchical controller selection among Danfoss refrigeration controllers
• Automatic controller identification by QR-code scan
KoolApp CoolGame
Danfoss also offers an entertaining and dynamic app for users to test their refrigeration knowledge. The goal of the game is to build a specific refrigeration circuit as fast as possible by placing the components in the right place in the system.
