UNIDO ATMOsphere Technology Summit kicks-off ATMOsphere global events 2013

After a successful line up of ATMOsphere events in 2012, shecco is gearing up to meet the increasing demand for conferences on natural refrigerants by announcing 6 events in 2013 taking place in Austria, the US, Thailand, Japan, Belgium and the Ukraine. These workshops and side events aim to find the right natural solutions for every climate and application in both developed and developing countries.

Highlighting the first event for 2013:

UNIDO ATMOsphere Technology Summit – Natural Solutions for developing countries
June 3-4, 2013 in Vienna, Austria

For the first time, shecco is partnering up with a UN agency (UNIDO: United Nations Industrial Development Organisation). This conference will focus on the refrigeration, air-conditioning and foam sectors in Developing Countries. Its aim will be to provide end-users and manufacturers with practical solutions to overcoming the challenges and costs faced when introducing natural substances, while also highlighting incentives and opportunities available in the industry.

ATMOsphere America – The Business Case for Natural Refrigerants
18-19 June 18-19, 2013 in Washington DC, USA

After a successful first-annual conference held in June 2012, ATMOsphere America Natural Refrigerants Workshop is back for a second edition. Showcasing the latest technologies, trends and regulatory issues, this event serves as an annual meeting place for industry experts. This year, several new features will be offered including more networking and discussions, an ATMOsphere America summary report to be published after the event and more.

ATMOsphere OEWG33 (side event) – Policy Drivers and Examples of Natural Refrigerants around the World
June 27, 2013 in Bangkok, Thailand

This ATMOsphere panel discussion will be taking place during the UNEP’s (United Nations Environment Program) 33rd Meeting of the Open-Ended Working Group (OEWG33) of the Parties to the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer. The side event offers an industry and policy perspective relating to Natural Refrigerants and is tailored to the climate negotiators who are looking for technologically viable, safe and efficient alternatives to the chemical refrigerants that must be phased out in the near future.

ATMOshpere Europe – Solutions for Europe
October, 2013 in Brussels, Belgium

This interactive workshop and conference on Natural Refrigerants (CO2, ammonia, hydrocarbons, water and air) is back for the fifth annual edition. The main theme of this event will be the viability of natural refrigerants as alternatives to F-gases across Europe. Solutions will be highlighted through case studies, shared experiences and discussions.

ATMOsphere MOP25 (side event) – Update on Natural Refrigerant Solutions
October 31, 2013 in Kiev, Ukraine

Taking place during the UNEP’s (United Nations Environment Program) 24th Meeting of the Parties to the Montreal Protocol (MOP24), this ATMOsphere panel discussion targets ozone and climate negotiators seeking technologically viable, efficient and safe alternatives to HCFCs. The side event will provide updates on the latest developments regarding EU F-Gas regulation, as well as information on Natural Refrigerant technology trends in Europe and Developing Countries.

ATMOsphere Asia 2014 – Technology and Innovation
February 3-5, 2014 in Tokyo, Japan

shecco’s first-ever Asian ATMOsphere Conference on Natural Refrigerants will be held in Japan, a pioneer of the NatRef industry. The focus of this workshop is to facilitate Asian technologies reach global markets faster and to bring international suppliers to Asia. The conference will feature Natural Refrigerant technology and innovation from leading end-users, suppliers, academics and government representatives.
