The global producer has launched the SVL Flexline™, a new range of line components for industrial refrigeration. Based on the ICF and ICV modular platform, the SVL Flexline™ is part of Danfoss’ new Flexline™ concept. This one platform multiple options concept includes the three popular Danfoss products: ICV (control valves), ICF (complete valve stations) and the new SVL (line components) to get an intelligent and cost-efficient modular solution.

Key to Danfoss’ new Flexline™ concept is the common housing which provides flexibility, simplicity and efficiency. This means for example that the inserts in the SVL platform offer five functions (stop, regulating, stop/check, check and filter) with the same high specification making selection, system design and mounting simple and trouble free.

Basic specifications SVL line components:
  • Temperature: approved for -60 °C to 150 °C (-76 °F to +302 °F)
  • Working pressure: up to 52 bar/754 psi.
  • Refrigerants: suitable for all refrigerants including ammonia
  • Application types such as: Industrial Refrigeration plants (ammonia) and also suitable for sub-critical CO2 and heat pump systems
  • Easy and timesaving switch between the functions thanks to one common housing

The new SVL Flexline™ is ready for sale as of now.

Flexline™ concept: lower life cycle cost and reduced emissions

The SVL line components are also part of the three product categories that are included in Danfoss’ Flexline™ platform:
  • ICV Flexline™ - Control valve
  • ICF Flexline™ - Complete valve stations
  • SVL Flexline™ - Line components

The advantages of Flexline™ include lower life cycle cost and further reduction of emissions from leaks thanks to the platform’s innovative design and carefully engineered valve ports.

The Flexline™ platform is designed for flexibility within industrial refrigeration components. Based on a modular design concept each product features a variety of benefits, including flexible selection, easy installation and maintenance. As there is no functionality in the housing changing the function of a valve is a simple swapping of the insert.
