Kuniaki Kawamura: Global solutions for industrial refrigeration with Natural Refrigerants-ATMOsphere Asia 2014

In 2014 Mayekawa, which has a 40% market share of the industrial refrigeration compressor market, celebrated its 90^th anniversary. Kuniaki Kawamura, Mayekawa Manufacturing's Executive Director, reviewed the company’s long history in manufacturing industrial refrigeration compressors using natural refrigerants. In a product overview, Mr. Kawamura described Mayekewa's variety of technologies using the five natural refrigerants that can reach temperatures of between -100°C and 120°C, including the NewTon package, utilising NH₃/CO₂ in the cold store and fishing sector; and the PascalAir, using air-cycle refrigeration for low-temperature applications ranging in temperature from -50°C to -100°C.
