Both product ranges achieve optimum TEWI (Total Equivalent Warming Impact) values as they operate with ammonia refrigerant (R717), which has zero GWP (Global Warming Potential) and zero ODP (Ozone Depletion Potential).
Applications for the GEA Grasso FX P and GEA Grasso FX Pduo
GEA Grasso FX P and GEA Grasso FX Pduo can be used for both freezing and heat pump applications with capacities between 200 and 5,800 kW. The chillers are also suitable for condensers in water-cooling, air-cooling and evaporative applications.
The difference between the two product ranges is that the FX P uses a single screw compressor whilst the FX Pduo uses two screw compressors operating in parallel,
Combining minimum refrigerant charge with high operational efficiency
Both the FX P and the FX Pduo comprise of an expansion control system that ensures minimum refrigerant charge and high operational efficiency, namely on the frequency converter.
