Optimising heat recovery by integrating industrial heat pump with other energy systems

published Oct 31, 2013 - 0 pages

In the paper presented at the first Energy for Sustainability Multidisciplinary Conference in Coimbra (Portugal) on 8-10 September 2013, Kenneth Hoffmann, GEA Heating Application Manager, highlighted three examples in which the carbon footprint was minimised and energy output was maximised by integrating ammonia heat pump technology into other energy producing technologies: flue gas cooling, waste heat recovery and solar heating.
