The webinar will highlight the challenges and opportunities to ensure a safe handling of natural refrigerants in China, and reflect on lessons learnt and latest market developments from China Refrigeration (9-11 April 2018) and ATMOsphere China (11-12 April 2018).
Ammonia has been used a standard refrigerant in China's industrial refrigeration for more than 60 years. The rapid growth of China's cold storage coupled with a number of accidents in the past has brought the focus on improving safety. As a result, the industry has been taking steps in technology development to reduce ammonia charge as well as to introduce additional measures such as automatic controls to minimise the risks.
