Virtual Trade Show Sets Live-Webinar Schedule

The natural refrigerants event will feature five live webinars and eight pre-recorded webinars, along with 77 exhibitors.

In addition to its 77 exhibitors, the Virtual Trade Show (VTS) for natural refrigerant technology, which takes place next Tuesday and Wednesday, will feature five live webinars (one repeated) and eight pre-recorded, on-demand webinars.

Organized by clean cooling accelerator shecco (publisher of this website and organizer of ATMOsphere events), the Virtual Trade Show will take place around the world over a 24-hour period on September 1-2. It is free to attend, and interested participants can register here.

The Virtual Trade Show will connect natural refrigerant technology providers with stakeholders across the global cooling marketplace, including end users, manufacturers, contractors, associations, government officials, consultants, academics, students, media, and NGOs. More than 2,500 attendees from 1,300+ organizations have registered to date.

The live, one-hour webinars, moderated by shecco with live Q&A, are scheduled to run from 11am CEST to 5pm CEST on September 1, and afterwards on demand during the show and during the 30-day archive period. Pre-recorded, on-demand webinars will feature presentations by Connex Bänninger, NTNU, Temprite, Carel, Güntner, Refrigerants, Naturally!, Tecumseh, BAC and NevadaNano.

The webinar “Back to the Future - refrigeration technology with natural refrigerants in times of climate change,” will take place twice – at 11am CEST and 4pm CEST on September 1. It will feature Michael Kauffeld, PhD, Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences; and David Blankley, Product Manager Advanced Refrigeration, GEA Refrigeration Technologies.

  • 12pm: “Commercial Refrigeration - trends and challenges,” with Matteo Munari, Head of Technology Development, Alfa Laval.
  • 1pm: “360° View on CO2, From Past to Future – retail, industrial and air conditioning applications,” with Andreas Meier, Managing Director, Teko.
  • 3pm: “Embraco Variable Speed Solutions with Smart Drop-in Feature,” with Michel Moreira, Commercial Refrigeration Sales Senior Manager, Nidec Global Appliance
  • 5pm: “Global Natural Refrigerants Market - trends and developments to watch” with Ilana Koegelenberg, Market Development Manager, shecco.
