Since 1978, AIR has developed its expertise in critical process refrigeration systems. The company became a recognised industry leader in engineering, design, installation and service of refrigeration, process, and utility systems, especially for ammonia-based systems. AIR is licensed in States across the U.S. and has completed projects worldwide in Asia, Central America, and Europe.

American Industrial Refrigeration is fully qualified to execute and complete large and small projects in refrigeration and process/utility piping, and provide engineering, troubleshooting, service and maintenance of the ammonia refrigeration systems. Its engineering and service staff includes registered professionals and designers, construction managers, and trainers, who are involved with a project throughout the design/installation phase and continue to be available after completion to assist the owner’s personnel.

The company also provides start-up supervision and training of the operator’s personnel. Moreover, for all projects a system manual is prepared, including operation and maintenance bulletins on all major equipment, control valves, and controls. The training consists of classroom and hands-on demonstration. In addition, AIR has certified professionals experienced in the federally mandated Process Safety Management (PSM) and Risk Management Program (RMP). AIR can assist in the documentation and implementation of any or all elements of PSM/RMP as part of its projects. It also offers PSM/RMP materials for existing facilities as a stand-alone service.
